To provide student a platform to share vital information about themselves, their worries, excitement, and questions; to create a sense of community and common ground early in the year.
To develop students’ ability to manipulate/map information in many different ways for use in AP courses (and other courses) that have a lot of information.
To help students develop metacognitive study skills that they can apply in their AP courses, non-AP courses, and, if applicable, adapt for advanced study.
