College Student Panel

To share perspectives from college, strategies for skill-building, and reflections on successful mindsets students can use throughout their AP course experience.

Students will gain a sense of belonging and community by hearing how those with shared experiences have succeeded and how their AP journeys helped them in their college experiences.

Action Steps

  • Create a list of former AP students who are currently enrolled in college.
  • Make contact and ask the students to attend a panel held during a college/university break, but while AP classes are still in session.
  • Draft questions for students to consider that will be asked on the panel and share with the panelists.
  • Schedule and hold the panel and allow current AP students to ask questions of the college students.
