Students will deepen their understanding of AP coursework and their belief that there is value in succeeding in AP coursework and on the AP exam.
Action Steps
Identify change-makers within the community at large to speak with students.
Have students prepare for the presentation by creating questions related to the change-maker’s topic/focus.
Through Q&A, students explore how change-makers use their knowledge to make world better and connect how knowledge learned in AP class could help them do the same.
