Create connections between AP students with ELL students. For example, bring AP Spanish students to meet with and do a project with a class of primarily Spanish -speaking ELL freshmen or sophomores. Create an activity where the ELL students can demonstrate leadership within this context and improve their confidence, as well as foster connection with AP students.
