Students develop a sense of connection to AP classes by seeing what it’s like for themselves.
Action Steps
Decide which AP teachers can support multiple students sitting in on their class.
Confer with the sending and receiving teachers to determine the best time to conduct the sit in.
Choose students to participate and provide an overview of what the sit in is about and why they should participate.
Bring the students to the AP class. Debrief with the students upon completion.
