Coach students to self-assess on current performance (when compared with their expectations at the beginning of the class)
Students can utilize self-assessments that measure their current performance and draw comparisons between now and the start of the school year. Teachers can structure this in a way that students complete the same (or similar) surveys at the beginning of the year and during this “keeping up” period and share with students where they have grown and where targeted areas for growth may be.
