Those who hold a growth mindset believe that they can get better at something by dedication of time, effort, and energy and that their success depends on time and effort, not an innate ability that is fixed. Teaching students about growth mindset and how to cultivate it can provide confidence as they navigate difficult coursework that pushes them to grow.
