Kamau Hixon

Kamau is a Principal for Comvest Partners, responsible for originating, structuring, and managing investments for Comvest’s direct lending strategy. Kamau is focused on transactions in the Northeast and Canada, where he works closely with client management teams, intermediaries, and private equity funds to structure and execute transactions. Prior to joining Comvest, Kamau spent nine years at Prudential Private Capital, where he was a Vice President in Corporate Finance, leading a team responsible for private placement and mezzanine investments. Prior to Prudential Private Capital, Kamau worked in several credit and finance focused roles including restructuring advisory at Gordian Group, asset backed securitization at UBS, and media and telecom investment banking at Credit Suisse.

Kamau received an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. in Business Administration from Morehouse College. Kamau lives in New York City with his two small children.
